ROC COMPLIANCES

ABOUT ROC COMPLIANCES

ROC stands for Registrar of Companies, a division of the Indian Department of Corporate Affairs and administers the Companies Act 2013. ROCs are appointed under Section 609 of the Companies Act, which covers various states and union territories. It is the primary responsibility for registering companies and LLPs operating in their respective states and union territories and ensuring that those companies and LLPs comply with legal requirements under the law. The ROC office serves as a record of registration for companies registered there, and is available for public inspection for a stipulated fee. Additionally, there are currently 22 ROCs with offices in all major states of India. The central government also exercises administrative control over these offices through each regional director. It is important to comply with all regulations applicable to your company to avoid fines and penalties.
